IHS HiRes Cover 1024x1000 I Hear Sirens Beyond The Sea, Beneath The Sky Listening Party

I Hear Sirens are 3 guys and a girl that play music much akin to many bands that you would probably find yourself weeping to your friends about how good they are. The difference is they do it better than these bands and they don’t take six albums to accomplish such a feat. In fact it only takes them two releases, their first being an EP that garnered the band much fan-fare and has had fans eagerly awaiting their latest eight song LP “Beyond The Sea, Beneath The Sky” which will be released Tuesday, December 15th. These are songs destined for soundtracks and made for when the end of the world comes in 2012. I recommend you sit yourself down in a nice cozy chair, pull on your headphones, hit the play button, and close your eyes.

Bear considers himself a music lover. Not an afficionade. He is in love with almost every genre of music, but not so much Rap. He loves sad music imbued with nostalgia. He doesn't enjoy bands that sound good on album but somehow forget to play their instruments in a live setting. In fact seeing a band that sucks live makes him never want to listen to music again. He was born in a hick town, then proceeded to move around the country with wanderlust in his eyes. He now resides in the great rain of the North West with the love of his life.
