Timber Timbre announce new Tour Dates

Toronto’s Timber Timbre, aka Taylor Kirk, has announced a number of upcoming tour dates and festival performances. Appearances at Canadian Music Week and SXSW Music Conference are bookended by Canadian headline dates and U.S. shows supporting The Low Anthem.  Timber Timbre will then make its first ever visit to Europe, performing at The Great Escape in Brighton, UK as well as dates supporting Broken Social Scene in London, Amsterdam and Cologne, before returning home for the Calgary Folk Festival in July. Timber Timbre released his self-titled third lp in 2009, his first to be released internationally, through Arts & Crafts. The album was recently named the #1 Album of 2009 by the Eye Weekly Cross-Canada Critic’s Poll last month and has been heralded by publications worldwide.

Bear considers himself a music lover. Not an afficionade. He is in love with almost every genre of music, but not so much Rap. He loves sad music imbued with nostalgia. He doesn't enjoy bands that sound good on album but somehow forget to play their instruments in a live setting. In fact seeing a band that sucks live makes him never want to listen to music again. He was born in a hick town, then proceeded to move around the country with wanderlust in his eyes. He now resides in the great rain of the North West with the love of his life.
