MP3 Download Premiere: Mystery Pills ‘The Glass Traditions’

South Dakota (the Dakota below North Dakota) is currently known for that rock with presidents’ faces carved in it. Raj Dawson, aka Mystery Pills, may not be a president but he’s giving South Dakota a new claim to fame with his spin on lo-fi pop. This genre title is getting annoying but what makes Mystery Pills takes on this cliché label is mainly the cassette-quality vocals.
With a Snow Patrol-like melodic guitar riff and pulsing beats, “The Glass Traditions” is easy on the ears and just the right amount of simple to keep you interested.
