The Reflections: Free Residency, Free Remix, Free Awesome Continues!

The Reflections may be slow and steady but they have definitely won our hearts. This month, they are not only releasing some single remixes but the duo is also hosting a free month-long February residency at The Satellite in LA every Sunday.

The first remix, “Daydreamer (Baz Tub Remix)”, takes the track to a new level of psychedelic, with swelling hums and delayed heartbeat-esque percussion. The disorienting vocal reverb enhances the track’s overall lean towards being a late-night drive narrative.

The second remix, “Summer Days (Voyage Remix)”, puts a danceable spin on the track with a funky beat, panning synths, and honking samples.

The newest remix, “Disconnected (Gardens & Villa Remix)”, is a swelling electronic take with intergalactic synths with a driving bass line reminiscent of tracks from The Gorrilaz Plastic Beach and Future Islands.
