We met up with Leona Naess at her show in Seattle. She and her bandmates were kind enough to play “I Turn Red” for us. It’s a beautiful song and we hope you enjoy it.

Two of my favorite new bands, The Acorn and Ohbijou were either drunk enough, or kind enough, to let us film them singing a cover of Ohbijou’s “Steep” , (is it a cover if Casey is singing her own song?). Earlier in the day we did a Chasing Rabbits Live Recording with Ohbijou which involves 3 live recordings, a music video, photos and a video interview, which will be put up when the new IRR site goes live in the next couple of months!

Blue Checkered Record Player is the love child of Sonny Votolato’s imagination. Sonny invited me to his house in the suburbs of Seattle for our IRR Acoustic Session. Besides BCRP, Sonny also plays lead guitar in the alternative rock band Slender Means and has been a mainstay of the Seattle music scene for the last decade. For more info and to purchase an album.
