Introduction by B.E. engineer Noel Paris:
Texture is a vital part to any medium. It can create depth as well as evoke emptiness. Everything has texture, it’s how one weaves and builds it that separates great art from noisy babble. Texture should be taken seriously if one makes art. Continue Reading
Session Notes: LA based Fitz & the Tantrums spent the day by the beach at the Bionic Ear studio, chilling in the sun while laying down a new version of their “Winds Of Change” song from their brand spanking new album Songs For a Breakup. Recording engineer Noel Paris manned the boards working his magic. The final output is a recording any engineer would be proud of let alone a recording as on-they-fly as this. Download the song, send it to your friends and enjoy!

After you download this song and watch this mind-blowing video we shot from The Boxing Lesson’s experience at the Bionic Ear studio you will be as stoked on this band as we are. At the same time we don’t think you will find a more fitting band to cover Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbits” song. It truly is spectacular and the vocal performance, as you will see in the video, by lead singer Paul Waclawsky is pretty much the raddest thing I’ve seen in a while.
\’a0\{youtube\}wxddFOmn98I&hl\{/youtube\} The Noise Chapter members have lots of tattoos, like criminal hunting, watching cartoons and making kick ass music. The band members history includes being members of such heavy hitting bands as -\’a0 The Scrimmage Heroes, Venomous Pinks and +44. To say the least we were very excited to have Bob, Shane, Jay and Frank in our studio and had a great time hanging out with the guys and shooting the shit. We took a bunch of photos, did a sort of interview that turned out to be on of the funniest interviews I have ever given, we even made a music video collage of their day and I must say I am very proud of the crew and think the day turned out pretty kick ass. So we hope you enjoy all this this Noise Chapter loot, we know we have.
