I figured everybody has already had an ear full or an eye sore of everyone else’s top 10 or 50 albums of 2009, for this reason I decided to make a list of albums I liked that were not at the top of many lists. I’m sure these albums were honorable mentions or on someone’s top 50 but to me they were pretty rad. These albums were not exactly the best of 2009, but I feel they are worth checkin! So here they are, in NO particular order.

Handsome Furs – Face Control (this one grows)

Junior Boys – Begone Dull Care

Empire of The Sun – Walking on a Dream

Black Lips – 200 Million Thousand (Short Fuse sooo gooood)

The Mercury Program – Chez Viking (still at it, and still pretty good)

Morning Benders – Grain of Salt E.P.

Lymbyc System – Shutter Release

Smith Westerns – Smith Westerns

Islands – Arms Way & Vapors (both released this year)

For 2010 my only advice is to trade in your fix gear quick because your friends are going to out run you every time on their café bikes!…..
