Retribution Gospel Choir is a rock trio founded in 2007. The group features Alan Sparhawk on guitar and vocals, Steve Garrington on bass and Eric Pollard on drums and vocals. Alan also fronts the band Low with his wife, Mimi Parker, and Steve also plays bass in Low. 2 is Retribution Gospel Choir’s 2nd full-length and Sub Pop debut!

RGC - 2 - IRR Album Review

On the heels of their debut release last week, LA art-rock trio, The Happy Hollows, have also premiered their latest video, “Death To Vivek Kemp” today!  Directed by Benjamin Hoste, the stop motion animation clip is accentuated by a barrage of random shapes, paint splatter and a simple water color palate throughout.

DC-based brother duo Bluebrain unveil the video for “Royal Blue”, the opening track from their forthcoming debut album Soft Power (February 9th, Lujo Records). Created by Robert Hodgin, the video features computer-made hallucinatory visuals set to the song’s robust piano and gusty melody.
