The only thing that can stand next to the level of insanity that these Brooklynites can release is the amount of party that jumped on stage for the encore. I'm a West Coast homebody and even I recognized local Brooklyn big names such as Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson and others as they rushed the stage leaping, dancing and singing as though Dionysus himself had showed up and promised an open bar sans hangover the next day. Basically shit got crazy!!
The sold out crowd was enraptured by the boys on stage. I on the other hand was completely enthralled by seeing Dexter (Michael C. Hall) standing on the stairwell. I don't often get starstruck. I mean I had just walked by the cast of Cougar Town without hardly noticing who they were (I think most people are able to achieve this, or even better to not know what that show is). But Dexter!!! And who was he obsessed with? Local Natives.
Suckers cover alot of ground. Their genre bending music, stage outfits, face painting and vocal shifts cannot be pigeonholed. Their one guarantee is that they hit the ground running.
